Jane Kim is a Bay Area native who completed her undergraduate degree at Boston College for her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. After graduating from Boston College, she moved back to the Bay Area and began working as a bedside nurse at Natividad, a Level II Trauma County Hospital, where she worked with the underserved community of Salinas, CA on the Med-Surg/Telemetry and IMC step down unit. With the thought of eventually attending graduate school, she began to work at El Camino Hospital on the Cardiology/Telemetry unit. While working at El Camino Hospital as a nurse, she received her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at San Jose State University. During her time as a bedside nurse, she witnessed how imperative it was to individualize care and to care for each person as a whole. She is a firm believer that health is a holistic process and hopes to provide quality care and education to her patients.
Outside of work, Jane enjoys spending her time at coffeeshops, drinking coffee and catching up with her friends. She also enjoys traveling and trying out new restaurants and bakeries.
